Ring size guide

Hemsleys provides a simple print-at-home chart to help you find your correct ring size. Here are two ways to find your ring size.

Option one:

  1. Print the chart with your printer set at ‘actual size’
  2. Take a ring with a fit you like, and place it on the chart, to find the same-sized circle
  3. Ensure the inside of your ring matches the circle, as that’s how your ring size will be determined
  4. Write down the number - you now know your ring size!

Option two:

  1. Print the chart with your printer set at ‘actual size’
  2. Measure each of the chart’s circles against your finger, finding the circle whose inside edge is closest to your finger’s width
  3. Ensure that the inside of the circle can just barely be seen around the edges of your finger, without your finger obscuring the edge
  4. Write down the number - you now know your ring size!

Remember, you can always visit us in-store to have a trained expert measure your finger to find your ring size.

Chain size guide

Hemsleys is happy to provide a simple chart to help you find your correct necklace size at home.

Use the following measurements to find the perfect fit and neckline form for your unique style.

12”- 14” Collar: Also known as Choker Length, this length fits like a choker and wraps closely around the neck.

15” Nape: Though slightly longer, this size is also a Choker Length, as it fits closely around the neck and hugs as a choker does.

16” Classic: This size falls perfectly around the base of the neck line, providing elegant, individual fits for women of different sizes.

18” Princess: A traditional choice of length for women, letting the necklace sit luxuriously on the collarbone.

20” Matinee: This slightly longer length will fall just below the collarbone for most women.

24” Opera: A beautiful necklace size, that falls at or just above the top of the bust.

28” Opera: A slightly longer necklace size that falls at or just above the top of the bust.

36” Rope: This length falls below the bosom. Many women enjoy the flexibility of this length as it can be worn as a single strand, or doubled to create an 18 inch necklace.

Remember, the above guide provides direction for most women, but every neck is unique and every style is personal. To find the fit and form you desire, you may need to increase or decrease lengths by an inch or two to get the length you want most.
