The Independence Skeleton Chrono is powered by the NORQAIN 8K Manufacture Calibre, an exclusive high-performance skeletonised flyback chronograph movement inspired by the world’s highest mountains. This model is the first chronograph in the Independence collection. It won’t be limited, other than by production. Initially, only 300 8K Calibres have been commissioned for the Independence Skeleton Chrono Steel, with a second batch expected in time for Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025.
8K Manufacture Calibre NK24/1
The new NORQAIN 8K Manufacture Calibre (NK24/1) developed in partnership between NORQAIN and Manufacture AMT. It’s a skeletonised flyback chronograph inspired by the world’s highest peaks, known as the “Eight-Thousanders”. The 8K’s signature is its flyback chronograph function, a chronograph that can be reset and restarted with a single push of a button.

Skeletonized Mountain Dial
The Independence Skeleton Flyback Chrono showcases a remarkable three-dimensional skeletonised effect, accentuating the form of a mountain chain and meticulously coloured in black to complement the remnants of the dial after the skeletonisation process. The architecture of the skeletonised dial not only enhances the sense of depth but also highlights the technical sophistication of the movement.
